Hadex Test kits
Hadex® test kits and strips can measure whether the drinking water disinfection has been properly dosed. If necessary, the dosage can be adjusted on the spot. We have digital and manual test kit as well as test strips.
Hadex Digital test kit
This test kit is the best way for an accurate analysis of free chlorine in drinking water and complies with the strictest regulations. It contains everything you need for regular analysis, including a compact and portable photometer, as well as HR reagent tablets. These tablets have a wide range of 0.1 - 10 mg / litre. The minimum amount of free chlorine at a tap that you want to measure is between 0.1 and 0.2 mg / litre. Due to the microprocessor in the photometer, the measured values are very accurate. The tablets have a shelf life of up to 5 years, the photometer is easy to operate and waterproof.

- Hadex measurements between 0.1 and 10 mg / litre

The test kit includes a compact, coloured measuring device, two sample cells, a stirring rod and reagent tablets. By checking the colour code after testing, you quickly know whether the dosage of Hadex needs to be adjusted.

Hadex Test strips
When you need to quickly assess the free and total chlorine level in the water after a shock treatment, our Hadex® test strips give you an accurate indication within seconds. Simply submerge the strip in the water and move it back and forth for about 30 seconds. If you compare the results with the colour chart printed on the bottle, you can immediately and accurately assess the chlorine level.

We’re not measuring any Hadex concentration in the water at our tap points; how is this possible?
Different scenario’s may be possible here. For example, you may be measuring incorrectly, or active coal filters may have absorbed the Hadex® fluids in your water. Please also check the Hadex® can you've used: has it perhaps passed its shelf date? If you're unsure, feel free to contact us with your questions, so we can help and advise you.
How can I add Hadex to my water supply in the most effective way?
Hadex® can be added to your drinking water supply manually or by automatic dosing with either a dosing unit or inline measuring equipment.
Can Hadex be used to prevent or combat Legionella?
Yes, in order to do so please follow our “shock treatment” procedure. For further support, please contact our water quality department.
