Hadex - a Hatenboer-Water brand 

Hatenboer-Water started supplying clean drinking water to vessels in the Rotterdam harbour in 1906. In the latter part of last century, water treatment modules and items were added to the expanding product offering serving various industries.

The current scope from the organisation is next to the supply of spares and consumables, fully integrated custom-made water treatment systems incorporating proven technologies and innovative developments and offering trainings on water quality like legionella awareness. Assisting the worldwide clientele with all necessary after-sales service, consultancy and quality assurance from their offices in the Netherlands, Houston, Singapore and Dubai and is acting succesfully as a full service partner.

Following requests from our client base, a drinking water chlorination product was added to our stocks which today – over 40 years later – still leads the market in fast and effective water disinfection: Hadex^®. 

These days, Hadex^® is distributed by our offices and partners around the globe and used by thousands of clients in different industries. Seafaring vessels still prefer it for their water conditioning during long voyages, but also medical and leasure industries are enthusiastic about its long shelf life and ease of use. 

Our roots: Hatenboer-Neptunus water supplies. Our origins lie in a water delivery service in the port of Rotterdam. Historical roots dating back all the way to 1906; still an important part of our business today. Over the years, water treatment products were added, including our disinfection line of Hadex products.

The importance of water to life is self-evident. Nevertheless, water is known as one of the dangerous sources of infection. Like food, water can deteriorate and can cause many forms of illness. Be aware that bacteria and other micro-organisms can grow rapidly in water. Drinking water treated with Hadex^® remains fit for consumption.
